China 2007
The Founder of BigGreenTree Productions is CK Armstrong. He started off in his homeland Scotland Lecturing at the Academy of Music and Sound in Glasgow and playing with numerous bands across the country. Moving to China to play with a house band in the City of Shenzhen. After two years he started working and travelling in and around Europe as a session player working in countries like Turkey, Greece and Tunisia. His mainstay for that time was Vienna where he worked as a session player within the funk and soul scene. After a year and a half he was itching for some English Speaking western culture and settled in Toronto, Canada where he quickly settled into 5 wildly different bands and occasional house bassist at the Harlem Jam session. Now in Newmarket, Ontario, CK has set up and runs a production house that caters to all types from the non musical to the humble everyday musician and even the ego laden rock-star.
